We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility by handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Hours:
Monday 8:
30am-5:
30pm Tuesday 8:
30am-5:
30pm Wednesday 8:
30am-5:
30pm Thursday 8:
30am-5:
30pm Friday 10am-CLOSE Saturday rotation (half day once every 4-5 weeks) Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner - Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel - Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments - Maintain electronic medical records with accuracy and confidentiality - Assist with medical billing and coding tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures - Proficiency in using medical scheduling software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, staff, and providers - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including managing front desk duties efficiently Joining our team as a Medical Receptionist offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic healthcare environment where your contributions are valued.
