Cashier associates will work with the Department Manager to provide fast, easy checkout processes for our customers.
Cashiers will process transactions and bag, or box purchased items, while providing a friendly accommodating environment.
Cashiers will balance a cash register, while accepting transactions including cash, credit cards, gift cards, etc.
Cashiers will be responsible for verifying appropriate identification and adhering to all state law minor policies.
Responsibilities:
Maintain safety throughout the store by following correct procedures and safety codes of conduct.
Provide excellent customer service by familiarizing yourself and informing our customers of all our products and services.
Assist customers through checkout process and accurately and efficiently ring products out to help reduce register lines.
Balance a cash register, while accepting transactions including cash, credit cards, gift cards, etc.
Adhere to all state and local laws specific to the purchase of alcohol, including identifying acceptable forms of identification.
Assist with bagging/boxing of in store and carry out/delivery purchase.
Help to maintain stock and store cleanliness.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Must pass the Responsible Wine Vendor course once hired.
