Responsibilities:
Complete preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
Maintain vehicle functional condition by listening to driver's complaintsVerify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
Comply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions.
Contain costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years' Tech experience, preferably at a dealershipA proven track record of working on Import vehicles is a PLUS.
Must have your own standard tools and be ready to start immediately.
ASE Certification requiredMust have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
