JOB DESCRIPTION Primary Responsibilities Execute the full systems lifecycle for projects:
define requirements, design a solution, develop, test, and implement a solution that meets business needs and enhances processes. Develop, maintain, and support solutions developed using the Microsoft Power Platform:
Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, as well as future technologies Utilize time management skills and self-motivation to complete enhancement projects on-time and on-cost to meet delivery performance goals. Utilize the project management methodology to lead projects, deliver solutions and communicate status. Identify and urgently solve problems to support business processes, systems, interfaces, reports, and meet the service level agreement goals. Initiate problem solving and drive continuous improvement Demonstrate knowledge of the practical application of systems and technology including systems architecture, hardware, operations, and life cycle. Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Manage high stress situations calmly and effectively. Develop technical and user documentation for the ongoing support of applications. Pursue continuous learning consistent with evolving job requirements, ongoing changes in technology, and changes in the organization. Key Objectives Supervise one or more developers to implement and support deployed solutions Establish and maintain a high level of stakeholder and super-user interaction to champion the Microsoft Power Platform tools and expand utilization at the location. Support and serve as a Microsoft Power Platform subject matter expert by proactively developing, coordinating, and providing on-going training, functional, and technical direction to the super-users (citizen developers) to enable a self-service environment As an internal consultant, develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes in area(s) of assignment; participate in, and learn how to perform, the analysis of the customer's processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Proactively engage with system users to understand the business processes and functional requirements of change requests ranging from simple to complex Document new processes, maintain existing knowledge bases, and process documentations Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in job requirements, changes in technology, and changes in the organization Execute planned professional development and training annually and communicate career goals to your supervisor. Lead the discovery, planning, and implementation of process improvements in individual tasks, in the work team, and with business users. Develop professional working relationships across all levels of the organization from shop-floor personnel to plant management and IT management. Collaborate with business users and other IT resources to resolve issues Collaborate with management, business users, and other stakeholders to identify end-user requirements and specifications for application projects Be a reliable, responsible, and dependable team member. Operate within Arconic's IS standards and conventions and applicable Arconic BU/RU IT standards. Ensure appropriate methodologies, support processes, and procedures are followed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years' working in a similar role in information systems / technology Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, or related field from an accredited institution Minimum 5 years' experience in a position of leadership / influence (defined as supervising direct reports or being a project team lead) Minimum 5 years' experience in data analytics with knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint workflow process and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) Project management experience in leading small to large projects, and demonstrated understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and techniques. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively is a key success factor. Ability to manage one or more direct reports while also leading projects is a key success factor. Demonstrated proficiency in business modeling, process modeling, data modeling Proficiency with SQL and database query tools (SQL Developer and/or SQL+) Experienced with Oracle and SQL databases, PL/SQL, and SQL. Knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards, and best practices including firewall rules, Active Directory, and row-level security Functional business knowledge from an IT perspective in planning & scheduling, quality, finance, and manufacturing systems. Ability to introduce new ideas and concepts that enhance the customer experience, streamline operations, and provide optimal security that fits the organization's needs Strong relationship skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers, other analysts, and management Strong detail-orientation and problem-solving skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Experience with translating business requirements into system functional and non-functional requirements Knowledge of governance and change management procedures in an IT environment. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
